This map was produced as the result of a Trailswest Project financed by Lotteries Commission funding to ATTA. It appears on a fully descriptive brochure available at the park or from ATTA.

The completion of the project was largely the work of Patrick Couser and the course is based on one originally described and frequently marked by John Pimm.

The permanently marked trail was officially opened on March 25, 2000
